Neighborhood
120 Sand Dollar Lane sits in a quiet residential subdivision in Englewood (zip 34223) on Florida’s Gulf Coast near Manasota Key and Englewood Beach. The area is low-density, mostly single-family homes, short drives to coastal beaches, small local shops and restaurants along Dearborn Street and nearby commercial corridors. The vibe is relaxed and residential—popular with retirees, seasonal visitors and families who want easy beach access and outdoor recreation (shelling, fishing, kayaking). Local conveniences (grocery, pharmacy, casual dining) are within a few minutes by car; larger retail and medical services are in nearby Venice, Port Charlotte and Sarasota.

August 2026Our family of 5 stayed here and we had a wonderful time. The location was perfect! 2 min walk to the beach and 2 min walk to the bay. We used the kayaks in the bay and also went to Stump Pass Beach where we found parking but were glad to have something walking distance. The onsite pool is on the small side but very enjoyable as no one else was using it. Close to numerous restaurants. We loved that the second bedroom had sleeping spaces for 3 so that we didn’t have to use a sleeper sofa. Everything was very clean and looked new. There were a lot of nice touches that we appreciated, coffee, a few drinks, spices, all the appliances, and labeled remote control holders! The communication with the company was perfect, quick responses, clear instructions, and genuine care for us to enjoy our visit. As someone noted, the kitchen counter is elevated but it was not a problem at all even for a short person. I felt like it was the best place for the price and amenities. Would highly recommend!

The beach was a short walk away( not crowded at ALL) , the place had everything you would need (beach toys, chairs, cooler, ice trays in the freezer, plenty of towels, outdoor showers and a hose to rinse the sand off, etc.). The host was very responsive, friendly, and soo accommodating. We cannot wait to come back!

July 2026We stayed for my husband’s birthday and we had our 3 young grandchildren with us. The location was great, one block from the beach. There were also quite a few restaurants within a mile. The property was clean, nice pool, everything you would need was available chairs, beach toys, towels, etc. I used the washer/dryer twice, they were & nice large updated stackables. Definitely would go back again. Friendly neighborhood

June 2026Great spot on Manasota Key in walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4. It felt very homey and had everything we needed including beach supplies. They even had a spice rack in the kitchen. We will for sure go back we had a great time!

A gorgeous beach was just a 2 minute walk away, and there's a local golf cart that offers free rides to the restaurants nearby, so the car was parked for days. They owners provided plenty of beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, even kids toys!) and we loved being able to relax in the pool for a break from the waves. The host was very easy to communicate with, and we will definitely be staying here again soon!
