Lido Key / St. Armands Circle area — classic Gulf Coast beach village: powder‑white Lido Beach and a public pavilion are within a short walk; St. Armands Circle (restaurants, galleries, boutique shops) is about 1.0 miles away; Roberts Bay and South Lido Park/Lookout are nearby for kayaking and nature walks. The vibe is relaxed coastal resort by day and casual dining/nightlife by evening; popular with beachgoers, families and vacation renters.
Walkable to Lido Beach, St. Armands Circle and several parks — most guest errands (dining, beach, boutiques) can be done on foot or by short bike ride. Short local trips: SCAT (Sarasota County Area Transit) operates bus service to Lido Key from downtown (routes serving Lido/St. Armands). The free Bayrunner/Bayfront trolley (visitor shuttle) links downtown Sarasota and the waterfront/Lido on a frequent loop during service hours.

September 2026We had a wonderful stay! The studio is super cute, very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved the location, just a short walk to the beach and about a 15-minute walk or quick bike ride to St. Armands Circle. It was also so helpful to have wagons, beach chairs, and an umbrella available at the unit, so we didn’t have to bring those with us. The outdoor space is beautifully done and very inviting. Thanks for a great stay!

July 2026Great retro place next to the beach with a 60s vibe. Sterling was a great host and very responsive. There are 3 units at the building but it didn’t feel busy. We were able to use the sunbeds, chairs and umbrellas at the beach and use the bikes to explore the area

June 2026Great location. Safe and quiet. Easy five minute walk to the beach. Ten minutes to St. Armond’s Circle. We appreciated the umbrella and beach wagon. But the beach chairs should be updated. They’re ancient. Outside furniture was adequate but maybe should be updated as well. The studio unit was comfortable and clean. Also, more or less adequately furnished. This is a three unit complex. We were fortunate that the other two (and nicer) units were unoccupied. If fully occupied, it would likely be noisy and crowded. A very pleasant stay overall for us. Thanks, Sterling!

May 2026We had a great time at Sterlings place. You really couldn't beat the convenience of being only a few minute walk from the beach! We flew to Florida so we really appreciated that beach chairs and coolers were provided. Would come again!

The location is everything, 3 minute walk to the bach and 15 minute walk to St. Armands Circle for all the food and shopping you need. The provided beach chairs and other items made beach days a breeze. Cannot recommend this place enough.
